PVP BG’s- dominating kills (map control) or healing without being killed by more than several people. More so healing than dps’ing.
PVP Arena- usually only noobs going for rating.
World PVP- no reason other than killing opponent over and over as far as I can see regardless of being outnumbered.
AH - offering merchandise at reasonable prices (100% profit)- this expansion received about 2 dozen spits and hate messages so far.
Raids- not this expansion but have not raided hard core per life restrictions.
End Question: Why even spit? Just fix it and out strat the team or situation?
I’m honestly convinced people just don’t know how to economics work any more. I see reagents costing more than the enchants that you can make with them. (And yes, I am meaning with rank 3.)
I see people undercut each other by 50% or more on auctions, with absolutely no regard to keep prices at a reasonable level for sellers.
And I see the prices of reagents staying the same price that they were back in Wrath, even though the average player’s gold amount went up like 10,000% since then.

In legion there’s this npc that tells me to spit on another npc. Its like the highlight of the zone for me and all my alts.

tbh i did deserve it. I told them that we arnt gana do this if we dont do the mechanics. ( this was back in legion )
Got the Unstable Arcanocrystal Titanforged with socket off the first rotation of Withered Jim back in Legion. After having the entire raid cuss me out I then had people across the entirety of the xpac spitting and telling me to get bent upon inspecting me. Seeing people get platinum mad was 10/10.

I’m someone who undercuts by 50% or more with auctions. I do this with non-reagents / crafted because I cba getting the item back in the mail unsold.
With my reagents I hold onto them until their price inexplicably doubles or triples. And then I try to sell in small batches undercutting by like 1g or 50s per unit.
My biggest problem is trying to figure out a price that works for all the random trash transmog greens, which seem to universally be priced in the thousands of gold, where excluding specific ones like Bikini transmog items, there’s no way anyone’s paying more than 100g, for a lot of the vanilla low poly stuff.
when you’ve got a few hundred unique greens to post, the post cost really adds up.

Absolutely no idea why. It usually wasn’t accompanied by any verbal disagreement, it’d just come out of the blue.
If im being cool and someone tries to get some I’ll /spit right before they die. Or when im getting rolled by 4 people.
It is an act if defiance
Happens sometimes in bgs when people I farm finally kill me by 1v5+ and they feel better even though it is my 2nd or 3rd death compared to their 10th+
A bunch of times, usually from the opposing faction.
Only time I was spit on by members of the same faction was back during my alliance days and my Horde guild had a dedicated “fan club” who would harass us in game if they saw us on our Alliance alts.
Was doing stuff in Dal on my Plaguebat, and got spat on by a nelf. I threw a blight grenade at him.

More than once in a BG. Assume it was just because I was playing the other faction or maybe I had killed the person earlier and they were salty.

My friends spit on me sometimes, probably because they are jealous of how handsome I am.
Or maybe they are angry because I chaosbolt them whener they get mind controlled. Whatever the reason, I just spit back!
