Iām actually looking forward to running a raid with diverse classes and specs. Wipe a few times? Thatās the Vanilla experience. Letās take it back to 2019. Those who donāt agree wonāt be raiding with me. Either way, itāll be cleared if people just dodge the fire and are familiar with the raid mechanics.

Iād take a balance druid or spriest that lived the whole fight over a warrior that died in 45 seconds in, any day.
Though in raids like molten core and ony itās super easy to bring any class. Those raids are done quickly with nearly any comp as long as the players are not terrible.
Why is it when someone wants to play the game their way ie being a meta chaser and a sweat, they get denigrated by people who want to play their own way ie being the opposite. Can they not see the hypocrisy?
āyou donāt need to bring x amount of warriors to the raid to clear it, you can do it with meme specs, the content is easy haha so yeah bring my ret paladin please and prio me the same plate dps gear as the warriors, damn meta chasersā. If the content is so ezpz, make your own guild, make your own raids, make your own groups and bring whoever you want. Let the rest of us play the way we want and keep it to yourself.

Iām with you there. Iām sure there are excellent non-sweaty raid groups out there, but I think theyāre as rare as a unicorn.
Not sure how hot of a take this is, but in my experience most ācasualā guilds are simply wannabe tryhard guilds that use casual as a shield against criticism.
Iāve seen plenty of toxic AF ācasualsā. They want to speedrun content, they want to be getting server firsts, etc, if they could, but they just donāt want to change their ways. Typically, because the guild leader, raid leader, or their friends and family insist on playing a meme spec/donāt want to get WBās/donāt want to spend money on consumes/canāt be bothered to start their raid on time.
Iāve been in a few very sweaty guilds, and they were actually a bit less toxic on average than other guilds. You just gotta deal with the occasional spergout lol
Finding a guild that is both not sweaty and capable of actually clearing content is a unicorn you will never find unless you create it yourself
