Have to do Harbinger to join event?

Uhh am I misreading wowhead or do I really have to do the Harbinger questline to take part in the pre-patch event?

yes, do the harbinger event or you wont get the follow up to go talk to thrall in silithus

the questline takes less than thirty minutes and you can stealth so no unnecessary fights

Yes. It’s not tied to DF stories so shouldn’t be a problem.

I was doing the even before I did the quest so unless I’m missing something no.

I could see the vendors and use the portal room without doing the quest.

God forbid someone want to do the quests in order (not connected my butt, pretty sure Eridikron and his buddies are heavily connected to DF) or not have a 70.

I thought we needed it too but my alts are all getting the thrall quest.

I got the quest, but wifee didn’t. Really frustrating. Prepatch quest should be independent and ready for everyone that logs in, imo. I’ll have to help her figure out where to start now. What if you didn’t play BFA or Shadowlands…No Soup For You!! silliness.

So I am clear, all I have to do is the Har-binger quest on my main (which I have), and my alts can do the event as well?
