before 8.2 i had 4 classes to lvl 400 because of how this patch is i had to cut it down to 2 last week and now it will be cut to just one class this ret paladin.
i really hope they start making wow more alt friendly bfa in general hasnt been alt friendly at all.
We’ll see come 9.0 because BfA has doomed alts.
a whole year to wait for 9.0

I gave up on current content the moment essences were introduced. Not dealing with that BS on multiple Alts. Going to be using my tried and true method of simply trying out new toons until they either change it or till 9.0 rolls around. I suggest you do the same. Current content just isn’t worth the headache the way it is now. E.g. atm I’m grinding mechnar with tabards for reps instead of playing BFA.
I was a norm/heroic raider up until patch 8.2. Now it’s LFR if at all, entirely due to essences. Thanks Blizz. You shot yourself in the foot on this one.

Yes you had 8 months to focus on multiple toons. This is the reality, 8.2 has been out for 1 month, and you expect all these characters to be caught up. Not trying to denigrate you or anything, but throughout this post no one factors in the most important thing which is time.
and in 5 months or less we will have the next patch.its just time to be on one chr.
So you’ll have five months to get them all done, again time. Instant gratification had never been a thing in WoW, you’ve always had to work for things.
You could just ignore them. I haven’t been back to see that dwarf since the beginning of the patch. I don’t even know what i have and what I don’t.
If it doesn’t me closer to flying or a cute mount then i don’t care at the moment.
I know the feeling. I’ll keep my two horde rolling through the campaign at the very least, so I can keep following the different flavor quest texts. Beyond that, it’s just this toon now.
Which is fine, gives me time to play other games and stuff when I’m done for the day.
until they nerf your class and have to start all over that is.
bro i come from playing an enhancement shaman nothing can be nerfed more then that…lol.
I actually enjoy that there is enough to do on my one character. I only turn to my alts out of boredom and so far in 8.2 I havent had to.
im not saying its bad for a main there is lots to do but to try and do all that grinding on alts is to much.
I’ve always been a believer that leveling 2 chars should take 2x as long. Benthic provides a drastic catchup for alts. But it will take a lot of work to keep them all evenly geared. I hated that I could keep my alt so close to my main with such minimal effort
