Have the stress test invites been sent out yet?

Beta is capped at level 30. The content is limited by that alone. This isn’t an early access game people are paying to get into and the amount of entitlement that rolls around any time a blizzard beta goes into swing is ridiculous. You don’t hear it from any other fan base. I get that people are passionate and it’s a let down but yikes.

Theres a lot to do between 1 and 30. A lot of fun to be had, dungeons, pvp battles, a lot of questing etc.
Yes its limited but its a heck of a lot of fun for a couple months.
A heck of a lot of fun that some are getting and others not. They should cycle the current mob out soon in exchange for another batch of players.
That would solve their issue of not having the setup to allow too many people on beta at once. As long as im in the next group invited. And as long as my group doesnt get cycled out. I need at least a month ya dig.

how do they plan on a stress test when only subbed people can do it? they have what? 200,000 subs?

around 5 million subs actually…and server only holds, 40k ish. (if they use retail caps)…

shouldnt be too hard

Not sure you read the title…

We all have.

For me personally, when I xferred servers I usually moved 6 toons at once. Race changes, faction changes, I probably server transferred at least 6 times. I bought every collectors edition. Tons of WoW tokens, store mounts, and virtual tickets. I’m not sure I want to know how much I’ve spent. My transaction history only goes back as far as 2008 now so I can’t see anything before then unfortunately.

To be honest, if I worked for Blizzard and read this I would be ten times more likely to NOT INVITE you just based on your entitled behavior. Your loyalty means nothing to an automatically generated beta invite though. The initial invites were to people registered in a specific database (Streamers, friends and fam) the rest are 100% randomly sent out dude, I’m shocked you thought they went through and looked everyones names and decided “Yeah, i’ll invite him, he’s been extremely good to us!”.

You must be one of those guys that pays for their sub with gold instead of real money lol

Except it’s not early access it’s beta so it’s not a crock. It’s a closed beta and they can invite whoever they want, you don’t “deserve” an invite more than anyone else. Feel free to cancel your sub, or just not re-sub til August. You should just be happy we’re even getting this project at all.

The problem is that the belief, or hope, you espouse and the language you use to express it indicate a belief that you’re owed something.

Buying things from a store doesn’t entitle you to more than you bought. You already got what you paid for, and those purchases do not add up to more than that.

well thats if they enough people on at the what? 2 hour window? i know i will be in bed. its also the middle of the day people are in school and working. it seems poorly done imo.

I’m sorry but people who have spent tons of money on this game over the years have kept it alive there alot of the people who got invited that played on illegal private servers which takes money away from the game they should invite the most loyal customers who have stuck with the game not people who casually resub when its convenient

They should but they don’t.

There should be world peace without poverty but there isn’t.

Yes but only to twitch streamers only.dont matter the audience size.

This is true and they even reward the many twitch streamers that illegally played on private servers that any loyal customer would never touch

Your reward for this was having a game to continue playing. There are no further rewards. When you buy something all you are entitled to is what you paid for.

Being a good supporter of the game doesn’t entitle you to anything. Short and simple. You got out of it the value you put into it. Whether that was services, goods, or experiences.

Extra stuff like having a higher chance at random selection isn’t part of the deal.

A proper sampling of a target audience is important. More important, perhaps, than almost anything else. The only way to get that sampling is a randomly selected sampling.

You can argue that there should be a few guaranteed spots for loyal players but… not all loyal players would get in, at which point you’re still going to see people complaining. How do you select which people get guaranteed spots? Random selection? How’s that remarkably different?

A genuinely random system is going to end up selecting people from every category of player, including long term loyal players.

Streamers get a free pass because they provide coverage, it’s a whole different ballpark with them.

Doesn’t work that way. I know current wow has taught you you can just throw money at blizzard to get what you want, but that’s precisely why people want classic

Judging by your achievements you haven’t played wow much over the years lol you didn’t even play when there was weapon skill obviously a casual wouldn’t care if loyal customers get invited

The amount of money you spent on the game is irrelevant because there was no promise of beta access tied to anything you bought. Its like buying a hamburger and complaining you didn’t get a shake because you bought a hamburger. We will all be playing the game in a few months, calm down. I have been here since beta 3 of original WOW, raided Naxx 40 in vanilla and recieved no invite…and its like I dont care.
