Oh I understand as I have spent nothing beyond sub as well and I played a fire mage though first couple phases and made a rogue that I raided on for a long time no one wanted fire mages until AQ and I refused to go frost.
You are right we are in tbc+ territory and that is what it is. We exceed nochanges and are into somechanges. I’m not saying they may not have gone to far on the drop of honor but it doesn’t mean things should just be handed out. In the world of somechanges the biggest thing is boost exists and I don’t want those people to pay $40 to get a 58 and then just get handed r14 gear in a week. Absolutely insane!
