So my main rogue has cleared the raid, i didn’t roll above a 40. Didn’t win anything. Been farming m+, I’ve seen one piece of loot in 6 dungeons. Ok cool.
My prot Paladin, one piece of loot in 8 m+ dungeons. Every m0 I have done has been a chest piece. Cool.
My Druid? Nothing. I think I won one raid piece in 6 bosses.
I haven’t had this much bad luck since I was a young teen man playing the field. For a patch about goblins. I am greedy for more loot.
RNGesus be trolling. Hope your luck turns around soon.
Yeah, it’s kind of hilarious that after 20 years, they still haven’t figured out the awesomeness that is Anti-Bad RNG and/or designing loot distribution to make sure everybody gets something out of content they do.
Nobody should ever go home with nothing, and I’m sorry, but a piddly 50g or what-not is nothing in today’s economy.
It’s stupid that it is possible to do 2-3 dungeons and not get a single piece of loot. It’s stupid that you show up to a raid and get nothing. It’s stupid you can do a bunch of m+ and get nothing.
It’s stupid that you can do 10 delves and get 10 trinkets in a row.
And no, the Vault isn’t the answer. It’s one piece of gear a week independent of any loot that did, or didn’t drop. Everybody gets it, the guy who gets 5 drops in 5 dungeons or the guy who gets 0 drops in 5 dungeons both get one.
It’s hilarious because I started the patch at 633 ilvl from crafted gear and some delves. I’m now 634 ilvl
I’ve been playing all day since the patch came out on multiple toons (because of this cyclone in Brisbane)

Now hold on a sec. We have been hammering blizzard for 20 years to fix the loot issue. But see if the actually did that the auction house would go back to normal? I mean more quantity, but the prices are set by the players. hmmmm… either way we loose. Either through Greed or Inaction. But I just saw an item for 4.6 million gold on the auction house. See the issue is were too greedy. We can’t set the price at 10% above the original cost of the item. No we can take a level 37 and charge 4.6 million for it. Tell me someone is not getting gold or stupid enough to think that is a reasonable offer.
Sadly, that is how RNG goes sometimes.
This is expected in a pug raid these days. Everyone will need on anything and everything. actually a dps loss but i can need on it? need need need. Join a guild with a loot council 
Loot council still relues on people not need rolling because you can’t master loot.
What irritates me is even in guild raids there’s folks that will need on everything.
I didn’t get a single healing trinket last tier. I used the ritual knife and alchemist stone, because I couldn’t win a roll to save myself. And I PASS on sidegrades and catalyst stuff! But no one can give me the courtesy of a healer trinket because people with two raid trinkets rolling on and winning a third.
On the character I raid on, I’ve gotten one thing out of raid in the entirety of TWW. I’ve rarely seen items that would be useful for me drop, and when I do, I lose the roll. I’m just unlucky.
Try Diablo III. The loot rains from the skies.
RC loot council is a thing. If anyone tries to bypass it and pass it off as an accident its incredibly obvious because you can still trade the gear so insta gkick if someone does that.
Yea I can’t imagine being in an open roll guild with how meager the loots drops are compared to how they used to be before like Dragonflight even.
i just love getting the exact same piece of gear from each weekly box, even tho any of my other 9 pieces need an upgrade.
I know it’s a thing. Still doesn’t physically stop someone from hitting that heed button. People that do that dgaf about getting gkicked.
And I hate loot councils. I hate dkp systems. I don’t mind open rolls, but I expect people o not be greedy jerkd. My guild told people this go round to only roll on bis. One guy rolls on another spec bis do he could catalyze it. Drama ensued because you weren’t supposed to do that.
I personally preferred personal loot, because I’m a grown adult that can tell loot beggars no.

It’s beyond a joke. I’ve got full m+ vaults on 4 different characters. I’ve been GRINDING.
All I have to show across these characters is 3 pairs of pants and some bracers.
Ilvl is the same as when I started
the worst start to a season I’ve ever had. My tank mate literally made a brand new DH, he’s ran the same amount of keys as me and literally went from 620- 646 within the same time frame.
It’s so off putting.
its not that blizz havent figured out loot /RNG its that they stretch things (like getting loot) out as ‘content’ , less stuff more time taken to get it/do it = profit on their end
