This achievement is a random npc that spawn’s in the Sethria’s Roost for the quest “the Portectors of Hyjal”, there are 6 NPCs you need to get, but each day it is random if get a guard or some NPC, there is a giant pool of irrelevant people who show up. I’ve been checking every day since the beginning of April and am down to 1 NPC. This achievement was never this difficult to complete at content because you could sit here and run across dozens even hundreds of players a day. Now that this content is beyond ancient, there are very very few players here. So most days I get to check who my followers are and I don’t see anyone else. Some days I see 1 or 2 other players, but no one wants to come sit out in Mt Hyjal hoping for some random person to show up to see if they may have the NPC you need. There is lots of current stuff out there that is more fun than just sitting in one place… doing nothing… in a zone that very few people visit. I can’t believe that this is the type of immersive gameplay the devs want, nor do I think they want it to be more difficult to get these achievements AFTER they are no longer current. By my estimatation I have checked my personal NPC somewhere around 114 times so far, if you estimate that I saw one other person half of the days, then you could add another 57 to that for a total of 171 attempts at it. I really feel like this is unfairly punishing for anyone who missed this when it was current content, it is now much more difficult to do. Please take action here, I’ve thought of a couple of way to increase the odds, remove hyjal protectors from the pool, make the necessary NPCs permenant characters in Sethria’s Roost, remove all or a good portion of non relevant NPCs from the pool, make the guards only take up 2 slots and fill the others with NPCs, or simply make the pool smaller so the 6 needed for the achievement show up more frequently. Either way this is much more difficult to complete now than it was when it was relevant content, so I’d ask you to adjust it somehow.

Two of the required NPCs are faction-specific, for an achievement that can only be worked on on one character, as opposed to account-wide progress. I believe there should definitely be some type of fix or work-around to help balance out the lack of players now that the content is so old.
