why can’t a passenger ride along on this mount? the lack of a baby owl is a…umm…slap in the face…thats what the kids say nowadays right?
I did restart my computer. That’s what I meant by restarting. The gift window was still blank. But maximizing it made it show up in the upper lefthand corner of the maximized window.
This, please! I’d love to have some of them.
i havent restarted my pc in forever but it was in my bnet client after closing and reopening. I dont think there has been anything that blizzard has ever given out in the history of forever that would require you to reboot your pc for it to show up because that’s not how digital items distribution works.

Battle Net just gave me a pop up for a reward to claim a few minutes ago, which was for the owl rewards. It’s a sky riding mount and looks really awesome. I also like the /mountspecial it does.
Really appreciate the Retail mount and Cataclysm Classic pet, though I really wish I could have the pet in Retail also!

It’s not about the digital distribution. It’s about the Bnet app bugging out and sometimes requiring a restart to work correctly.
It’s just the generic mount special all of those owls have.
It does have a unique summoning animation though, at least as far as I’m aware. So, there is that.
True! Reminiscent of the Lunar Elder’s Hearthstone, but with what looks like a snowflake? Not sure. It’s the same glowy thing around its neck.
It didn’t make me do that. But that’s crazy it’s doing it to some people . Wild.

I really do like this one. If I hadn’t gotten it for “free” I was tempted to just straight up buy the thing. And it’s blue. I love blue.
I honestly don’t know if the restart is necessary. For mine, the gift window was too small for it to show up. Once I maximized it, the gift was in the upper left corner.
Ah I gotcha. Well if it’s making people restart hopefully that gets fixed cause that’s a pain. Glad it worked for you tho!

This mount is the new standard for all mount quality going forward.
The texture looks high-def, and the details are phenomenal.
All future mounts will be judged against this.

Only sad part about the blue owl:
Ride along currently doesn’t work with it.
I have 6 month sub and haven’t gotten the mount.
Do I still need to have an automatically renewing subscription even though I have game time well into 2025? Shame… Guess I’ll wait for the next sale if I even want it by then; a draconic owl looks horrendous.
FYI, you have to claim the mount in the gifts section of Battle.net if you have the sub.
