They’re using an armored version of an existing mount, with some exceptions (bfa proto drakes and shadowlands soul eaters until they added the zovaal’s one).
Should already be gotten for 12 month sub. But I’m here waiting with a ticket open.

No need to open a ticket. The page flat out says it will be delivered by the 21st. In my experience, it usually takes a few hours for it to kick in and be granted. You’ll be waiting longer for a ticket response than you will the actual mount.

Because you cant get the hunter pet version unless you get mount first.
This doesn’t look even remotely similar to the Fyrakk mount other than using the same owl skeleton. Calm down.

Just let us have stuff all on one collection tab, it’s maddening that you split it like this.
I don’t want to play Cataclysm content again, I enjoyed it back in the day. Don’t give me a pet for a classic account only! Stop giving cosmetic content to classic-only.

Yeah, separating the pets doesn’t make sense. I still have the worg pup that I collected in black rock mountain 20 years ago, but for some reason I can’t have this new classic pet.

Close your ticket. It’s a waste of time. They cannot do anything for you. The purchase page tells you the following:
If you’re currently on a 6-month or 12-month recurring subscription with a future renewal date, you’ll receive the mount and pet as a gift in your Battle.net desktop app at no additional charge no later than July 23, 2024

Careful, you’ll get told you’re being a “narcissist” for agreeing with them and coming up with an idea to make sure both Retail and Classic get the pets.
Frustrating sitting here with 4 x 6 month subs and 3 x 12 month subs and still don’t have it, while a friend who just purchased a 6 month sub today has it. Make it make sense!

Please just stop restricting access to these pets to classic. I get why you don’t allow usage of the mounts in classic, but it’s silly to not allow the matching pet to be used in retail with the mount.
I’m not ever playing classic anything again probably, because there are no permanent WotLK realms, so the pet is useless.

If there’s any arbitrary decision that actively upsets me, it’s this.
I will not play classic. I was there when it was Live. I have no intention of playing a game mode where nothing I do carries over to Live.
I already have one account on 12-month and at least one on 6-month. I already have access to these things, but will literally never see them if they are contained within Classic, for no other reason than, “Devs said so. Get over it.”
