Just a heads up, haunted mementos are dropping like candy. I got one for 5 alts already.
Go farm them before it gets changed.

Does it work like it used to and always keep the ghost out or is it lole it is in retail?
It gives you a buff “haunted” and the ghost randomly pops up, but not forever
Yes, I got one in 3 kills.
Although a guildie decided to grind one out last night and it took him hours.

So I caved and got ot anyway. It does not go away it is actually the og version!!!
I’m so unbelievably happy this made my night after dealing with the AV disconnects and realm restarts

lol its not even the wotlk version. Blizz must be having issues with their old wotlk. ive noticed multiple things that have been changed including the divine storm graphic. it’s the retail version not the wotlk version

Are you sure? I just got it, and although I didn’t stay logged in for that long after, it never went away.
There aren’t any special mobs in any of the invasion zones on my map. Figured I’d go ahead and for kicks and giggles get one but just…nothing.
It will sometimes go away and stay away for a very long time and will sometimes stay for a long while or come and go in short bursts. Completely random.
sometimes when i press “M” to open my map, it for 0.1sec open the retail map ui then switch instantly to the classic version.
My penguin likes to slide, he even watches me fish
