Everytime I go into a torghast instance I get triggered. It’s a waste of my time. I put in 3 hours running supposedly solo content only to get to an unkillable boss at the end. Anytime I run for the soul ash someoen leaves mid run further wasting my time. Please remove this terrible system. With free time becoming more and more scarce please do not put in mandatory systems that are designed to enrage and troll your player base. The VERY least you can do is label it group content.
Each and everytime I have to go there I get pissed just thinking about the time that I wasted there. Please do not put anymore systems like torghast in the game or at least label them appropriately so that we don’t waste our time doing group content as a solo player.

Yes, It’s boring. But if you’re spending 3 hours in 1 run then you’re doing it wrong.

I find it easy enough. It’s a little time consuming but I find it a fun mini-game. You can also pug the layers if that helps you. It is an MMO after all.
If you can’t do it solo and people you try to play with are abandoning you… I think that there’s something wrong with how you are doing it.
I recently finished TC layer 8, and although I did have 2 failed runs on layer 7…I would say it was a really fun time.
I didn’t do it solo, so that made it better.
And the 20+ hour time commitment was pretty hard to fit in.
And of course, I am never going to back into TC this season
I hate soloing it but it can be fun in a group.
I had to wait until a Saturday to do it solo (couldn’t get any friends to commit to doing the whole thing). AND I had to wake up very early to do it to get most of it done before my wife woke up and started with her honeydo list.

I wouldn’t mind it as much if the content was actually clearable solo.
It’s not though, past floor 5 it just becomes way too sweaty because things just constantly hit you to low health and the only success i’ve had clearing 6 was on a paladin constantly spamming word of glory.

just keep doing world quests, you don’t need legendary for them.
I don’t buy it. I have one self heal on rogue and unless by soloable you mean overgearing it by way too much then I wouldn’t call that solo content.
We literally breeze through it in a groupfinder setting.
But on 190 ilvl layer 6 I find myself spamming self heals a majority of the time to wither a floor boss down, don’t see that working on outlaw rogue unless I spent like 2 hours cheesing everything for no reason.
That’s not solo content at that point that’s you outgearing and cheezing content.
I have two 60 rogues, two 60 wars, and a 60 pali. Layer 8 normal was doable in ilv 184 solo as sub.
I guarantee you are picking the wrong powers.
this, i can maybe do it once per week because of lack of free time (wife &kids) so I end up just doing the levels I know i can get through quick. I learned my lesson on two separate runs when I couldn’t take down the last boss and just wasted my free time.
did tc8 solo as dh in 200, been pretty easy

Stacking linking chain + 30% eviscerate damage with jack of all trades = 300k eviscerate spam.
If you get the 400% damage after shadowstepping trait, you can 1 shot layer 8 normal final bosses.
Two of the most common powers in torghast for sub are the foundation of the strongest build.
Toghast simply takes too long to be enjoyable.
No run should take longer than 30 minutes. Including TC.
