Hate force of nature talent balance druid

Any other boomies absolutley hate running force of nature talent? The majority of the m+ community has the opinion that it is the best talent in the row and talks crap to you if you arent running it. But to me logically besides teeming fort weeks, 17 and higher motherlode keys and necrotic week the talent sucks compared to natures balance. Curious what you other boomys think about it.

You said it yourself: it’s awesome for Fortified, Necrotic, Skittish or any other situation where tank struggles to survive.
That said, you are absolutely free to choose whatever talent you see fit for any given situation.
Personally, the only reason why I bring balance druids along in my groups is precisely Force of Nature.

I can’t convince my guild tanks this is the best talent. No matter how much I explain to them how good it is they tell me its terrible because “they lose threat” I have told them that the threat stays on them once they die its not like a hunter pet where all the threat they cause goes to the hunter after the pet dies.
They get mad if I run it lol.

Good thing I mostly just do rated PVP or it’d be annoying to not be able to run my best talent.

FoN is ridiculously powerful in M+, especially vs necrotic.
The tank can literally just stand there and dps and his stacks will fall off while trees are up.
That said, I find it a bit odd that our lvl 15 row talent with the most utility is also our #1 talent for aoe and ST.

Use it on a Grievous week and dare them to keep saying that.

It’s a great talent, a unique and powerful form of utility that Balance are lucky to have.

I do miss WOE some times.

It is also annoying to have to sacrifice even a little dps when you have to compete with rogue/dh.

I admit that, as a tank, it took some getting used to to run with guild boomies with FoN. Now I have to say I love it. It proves so helpful at times.

And while I agree with the ‘play as you want’ mentality, I would caution that sometimes what’s best for the group as a whole might be a DPS loss for you individually.

It’s basically a 10 second bubble for the tank for trash pulls. It’s up there with rogue’s shroud as one of the best m+ abilities and is on a minute cooldown.

Trees are ALWAYS the best choice for M+.

The amount of extra dmg you get with natures balance does not matter if your tank dies even once. Not only that but they won’t be able to pull as much and you’re putting more strain on the healer which could be dpsing.

Also if you’re going for straight damage warrior of elune is better. Only time I use NB is in rbgs and arenas.
