There is no use for this once you have learned everything.
Can’t salvage, can’t vendor, can’t do anything with them.
What is the point of them beyond taking up space? Can we get some profession knowledge or something?

I would personally love it if we could just keep making prototypes to scrap.
If i would have known this would happen, i never would have learned like half the recipes there are.

Yeah it was nice being able to. Maybe we can turn the notes into prototypes that we can scrap again.
I’m just breaking down scraps into random parts for money at this point. Getting more notes than I know what to do with so stuffing them in the bank HOPING for something I can do with them.

Yeah this is very frustrating. There was a nice loop of scrapping prototypes and getting more scrap, now it’s totally not worth it and these notes are completely useless. Quite an oversight.

Couldn’t agree more. Blizz really should do something with these notes bc we’ll just keep accumulating them and then…?

Invent gives you a professions stat boost when one of the wheels is filled. Lasts for 12 hour. Doesn’t address the accumulation of notes, but it keeps you doing it before each crafting session with the patrons.
Edit: And this is a necro by the looks of it, so lets leave it RIP.
After you’ve learned all engineering recipes, Hastily Scrawled Notes are completely and utterly useless. Trash them.
Continuing to invent/scour through scrap after having learned all Khaz Algar Engineering recipes will instead award Legibly Scribbled Notes which do basically the same thing as Hastily Scrawled Notes, except they’re warbound, meaning you can send them to other Khaz Algar Engineers on your account to get a leg up on their discoveries. (Note: the Comprehensibly Organized Ideas created by Legibly Scribbled Notes are still BoP, so ship the notes to the other engineer first before using them!)
