Dropped my Haste down to 4% to get my Crit/Mastery to where it needs to be and now my rotation feels horrible. I am wondering how much haste everyone else is running with or what is recommended?
well last expansion mine was at 30% or around it and stuff felt smooth
Yes but this expansion they have it as third stat priority.

Currently have 22% Crit, 4% Haste, 48% Mastery
Best thing to do is sim.
It’s super quick and easy and will tell you the answer.

Crit is the highest stat currently which you can’t really deviate from that. Haste and mastery though I have seen people do either and 12% haste is a breakpoint. So you could go
Crit
Haste to 12%
Mastery
Haste

Thank you, I made some changes and got my haste up to 7% now. Already feels a lot better to play.
“If you do not play with The Long Winter, then every 12.5% Haste will grant you another GCD during Pillar of Frost. If you pick The Long Winter, this breakpoint disappears as each Pillar of Frost will have slightly different durations. The breakpoint is ~8% Haste with the full extension from The Long Winter. Sims will account for the Haste breakpoint, so there is no need to force a certain Haste level. The breakpoints are listed just to explain why Haste values can fluctuate in sims.”

Please never in a million years use what that person suggests. They don’t raid or play content, and the sims seriously do not reflect what they’re suggesting at all. They gave you an arbitrary number pulled from an older expansion.
Sim your own character. Raidbots is really really easy to use.

Don’t listen to salty Drakov.
The information is on wowhead right now so it can be backed up. 12% haste gives you an extra attack in pillar if you don’t have the long winter.
Logs also show people getting like 14% haste. It’s not like people can’t see the information out there.
Seriously, Drakov fought me on there being a forum ignore where he vehemently said it didn’t exist. Best to ignore the troll. You can go to the guide’s where it talks about the 12% (not from an old expansion) and there are non-breath builds getting haste.
I recommend never under 10%
and historically 15-20% seems to be the good spot early in an expansion.
climbing to want 20-25% when patches start rolling out.
if you’re trying to minmax for mythic, that’s outta my league and I’d suggest referring to icy veins.
