Haste for arms warrior PVP?

Hi, I was wondering is this stat important for an arms warrior for PvP? I’m trying to figure out the stat priorities for the character…

Versatility > Haste > Mastery > Critical Strike,
Versatility is a critical stat in PvP as it decreases damage taken and increases damage done.
Haste is another important stat as it improves your damage output and auto attack speed. Since auto attack = rage you will have more rage, but it is more important to have versatility as a top stat.
Mastery is the third priority stat as Deep Wounds is affected by mastery, increasing damage enemies take from you.
In my opinion, you should use “In for the kill” to increase your haste after using Warbreaker. You can buy haste gear from PvP vendors if you are still gearing for PvP, specifically the honor vendors. Transforming PvP gear into set items can also grant haste since it is basically engraved into PvE items, but this will cause you to lose out on versatility due to it being set item status since set items are PvE-related. SOO PvP is very complicated, in conclusion, versatility over haste.
Oh yeah, we don’t talk about critical strike.

Bit of both.

In general it’s haste for arms (and prot), mastery for fury.

Keep in mind you don’t wanna ignore the other stat, but there’s generally a slight to moderate preference for the other.

Why are so many top warriors in battlegrounds getting “living weapons” gear instead of “astral gladiators” gear? Is it only because of set bonus?

yes.
You can convert your pvp gear to tier set pieces with the catalyst to have a tier piece that retains the pvp ilvl, or you can buy tokens from the conquest vendor that add a pvp ilvl to tier gear that you got from the raid / vault.
