Nah you can have plenty of fun with them as an adult. My mom lives in another state we have a game night she loves the zombie shooting and scary games although sje gets easily scared lol
Its alot of fun. Sometimes just some beat saber or the once in a while VR pool jist talking and hanging out.
No, there’s worse communities. DOTA/LoL/DBD come to mind. But WoW is definitely in the top 5.

I learned that there are people who deliberately do poorly in games like Siege so they can be put in a lower tier and then stomp people who aren’t very good at the game.
I would say that is worse.
League and GTA both clear WoW easily in terms of being awful.

Yes. This community is on average stupid, selfish, entitled, arrogant, ignorant, rude, lazy, full of quitters, resistant to criticism in any form and is just an overall not enjoyable experience compared to what it used to be. I’d rather play wow with AI bots/NPCs than continue to play with most of the people that I’ve encountered in the past few years on Retail, SoD and Classic
Hence all the people in the comments trying to shift blame to other games LOL. They’re not even willing to take any responsibility for anything, it’s unreal lmao

classic and SoD sometimes but retail? Nah. WoW is not the worst community imo.
I do not believe we are even in the top 10. This place is calm compared to a lot of other games, even games made by Blizz.

I have a thoery
Player A has a bad time, makes a post about it.
Player B understands the issue and makes a comment about Player A problems in another thread.
Player C reads both Player A and B posts and thinks thats whats the game is like. They blame elitests/others for being horrible and blame thier issues on others.
Player D sees the long threads and hot topics and now makes up stories for internet hearts/points, taking points from Player A and B stories, and makes up imagined conflict that never occoured. Its always the same people coming in with multiple stories of how people were mean to them.
Players E-Z now read all these comments, refuse to do content becuase of these stories and think its now the norm. Which leads to threads like this where everyone is the boogy man and toxic.
TLDR:
Too many read stories on the forums and let others drive what content they do. They read forums about hostility and choose never to try for fear of it happening to them instead of seeing the lack of hostility actualy there.
