With the wow UI improvements have many of you given up on other UI programs like Elvui? Or most still using ElvUI
I still use ElvUi. I like it and it’s already all set up and I just didn’t have the energy to start rearranging and messing with wow UI. Someday maybe but not yet.
If I was a DPS, I would say yes. As a healer, absolutely not. The default UI frames doesn’t allow me to customize the buffs/Hots I place on people. Icons are WAY too small. But it is getting close.
To give people reading this insight, I heal using macros that use the modifier @mouseover in them. I do not use healbot, Vuhdu and others.
When the DF UI changes came in I took the plunge and disabled all addons (except WoWHead) and now just use the native features. It’s really a one time setup as you can apply it over all characters (except Classic). I don’t really miss them or the hassle of updates and brokenness when game patches etc come along.
