I was riding my mount into Nesingwary’s Expedition camp in Northern Stranglethorn. I was riding the mount "Garn Nighthowl. Adds (One tiger) locked onto me, I kept going in cause I thought they would just whack me and run back, the tiger hit me once. I turned into the spirit which a holy priest turns into when they die, I am just dumbfounded, I noticed that PVP shield was on my portrait and I was like “I beg your pardon…?!” and when the spirit ended DEAD PANDAREN I was so dumbfounded and so confused, it took me a few minutes to process what happened.
To summarize, Pandaren Priest trying to level, rode into a settlement to turn in some quests. A tiger seen me and chased me into the settlement, it hits me one time, my PvP goes from disabled to enabled, this tiger hit me hard enough to kill me in one hit somehow, I become the spirit healer ghost waiting for inevitable, and thus Dead Pandaren
I was kind of paranoid and I just took the Resurrection Sickness, cause I thought a ganker rogue hit me but I realized he would of had to enable my PvP through my client…
I am still confused…Why you do this to me Blizzard.
I’m guessing it was actually an enemy NPC.
Yeah, just a rando Youth Tiger, that is running around outside of Nesingwary’s Expedition.
I’ve had something similar happen before.
I was, also exposed to my first PvP attack in the open world in Stranglethorn coincidentally, and became familiar the the net thingy that shoots down your mount. Safe to say, I was stuck for about an hour.
But hey, it was fun in its own way lol.
I dunno. Sounds like it was a horde NPC, if it one shot you and also flagged you. If not it’s probably a bug you should report.
But there was no horde in sight. This was an Alliance Settlement, I looked everywhere not one horde enemy or NPC.
I think I might know actually. Just a theory.
Could it be that you taunted them by bringing the tiger near?
Nesingwary’s Expedition is a neutral questing hub, right?
I actually found out what happened. For some reason, in this settlement. If you hit an Orc guard, which is not labeled as Horde and is level 120, will attack you.
You can actually hit one of the guards here…Which is not supposed to be like this? They are neutral…
Exactly. I remember them being that way.
You did in fact taunt them by accident, huh?
No I was by the river, The orc is by the entrance, Anywho, least I figured out what happened.
Ahhhh, it was the fabled Ghost of Ganklethorn Vale. You should feel honored.

sad face. well umm the orc that JR. hired is not very smart let’s say. And thought you were a wild bear coming into the camp. I would remember and come back at level 120 to have a nice discussion about the difference in species. Goodluck on your journey’s.
