I loved getting the Hivemind, and the Lucid Nightmare, etc…
Have there been any secrets in Shadowlands?

There have not. The only particular big secret was the Slime Serpent mount. The discord spent months searching for it and it turned out to have a pretty easy answer.
There have been other questionable sus things and Blizz in the past talked about there being secrets in SL, but nothing’s led to another major find so far. So either it’s so good that no one has caught on to it yet or it doesn’t exist and Blizz hasn’t added one. Which is possible given all the delay issues.
But every patch holds the chance Blizz will sneak one in. Feasel and his devious minions probably have something evil in the works eventually. All we can do is keep an eye out.

The only secret that was really any fun was that one where you had the big board of gems that you had to turn all one color and apparently a large percentage of the player base couldn’t figure it out and just used an addon. lol
i can only think of 1 which was the slime serpent mount. other then that idk.
Tazavesh had a lot of interesting things like the legion section having a high drop rate of fishing up bobber toys and some weird music stuff, but nothing new unlockable.

I spent days tripping those gems. Felt amazing when I finally got it!
I also liked the maze for Lucid nightmare…reminded me (yes Im seriously dating myself here) of the dark maze in Zork. I mapped it all out on paper and figured out where the overlaps were. Cool beans that one. I really should visit the Discord…havent been on there in a long while.

They just seem to be going for little hidden gems like Blanchie, Alpacas, etc…
Hivemind was epic, when it happened, and was so fun. Only time I wished I was 5-boxing…can you imagine having your 5 man mind?? Also always wondered if it works for Arena…can you have a 3 man team all linked to a single mind?
Anyways cool concept, amazing quest, wish other things were like this.
Finally got Kosumeth the other day. Was just too damn lazy to do it.
That would be amazing. See a blue post with a teaser because it’s been there from day 1 and nobody knows about it. Bunch of random stuff that everyone sees everyday and the connection was never made so it stays hidden. It’s set up so that once all the requirements are met for the first time the mount/whatever is injected into the game so it couldn’t be datamined.
Sadly I don’t think they have it in them to pull off something like that.
Patch miners look for little things like this. Often times, the beginnings are known, but the final pieces aren’t put in. I’m not even sure your could put an actual “secret” in the game without someone data mining a bunch of clues.
I don’t know if its a secret but I was able to find boredom in this expansion.
I also might have found the developers bare minimum effort as well but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t a secret.

But is it a flying mount I can obtain?
I feel the devs took the wrong message from the fun the secrets discord had with puzzles and choose to litter the world with obnoxious little undocumented quests/puzzles that didn’t really stump the secret finders at all but left everyone else googling rather than playing.
Sad but true.
I wish there was some way they could truly hide things in -game…would be so amazing when people discover something.
