well my question is are GY,s going to be miles away from everything for our new pvp event
STV is known as stranglethorn vietnam for pvp reasons but any veteren to the game knows on pvp servers its bst just to avoid the zone entirely too much of a time waste running to your body
so in all world pvp events there has to be closer GY,s that have spirit rezzers who every 30 seconds rez people during the event so far ashenvale was a complete failure because of this and it turned into a pve event because whos going to pvp when the run back takes 8 mins
well stv is even worse theres like 2 GY,s one in the north and one in the south if there isnt something done to fix this issue it wont matter what items are available or how cool they try and make it

There’s a northern GY near Hemet and a southern GY near Booty Bay, if I recall.
Yeah, walks back will be brutal.
What I’m concerned about is free-for-all players running up to guards and getting them to PvP for 'em, hopefully if the guards hit someone, it gives no rewards.
It is already the case normally, you cant loot mobs that have been aggro by guards. So you shouldn’t be able to loot players killed by guards, and I think you get the currency for the PVP rewards by looting, if I got their explanation correctly.
Not 100% true, the guards can help it’s just all about how much health% you did VS how much the guard did. As long as you did more than ~50% you still get to loot.

People kite Sharptalon into the guards at Splintertree all the time, and are able to loot.
It’s what everyone does to complete that quest solo.
I personally don’t want GY’s everywhere. Dying in classic should have consequences. I know they cater a lot to the retail crowd which has a lot so far, but they shouldn’t make dying inconsequential especially in world pvp heavy zones.

game needs way more resurrect ghosts or just faster walking based on the distance of ur body to speed up alil bit atleast
