Was browsing youtube and came across this:
Can anybody tell me if blizzard has addressed this issue yet or said anything about it? with them pushing BGs out the door like this I’m very worried they haven’t.
Was browsing youtube and came across this:
They haven’t addressed much else so …
They haven’t even fixed some of the class bugs. I don’t think their gonna give a crap about queue dodging.
Queue dodging was around in vanilla. All the #nochanges are coming out of the woodwork now
.
Personally I feel they need to address this and premades. I think premades should queue against premades.
this is going to happen, of course
and mid december people will start to crying on the forums about it the same way they did with wpvp
its hilarious how many people have never rbg’d at more than a 1600 level. None of this is unexpected.

If you believe queue dodging is going to be bad, wait till your pug is GY camped by a 10m premade while the EFC + healer three caps you.
Can’t really stop players from cancelling queues for what ever reason. Sure it is a really base tactic but what to do? Punish players for not accepting a queue?
It’s like player sniping for wPvP. The amount of people willing to pay for multiple accounts so that they can search for players to kill with /who is absurd.
Those very people who already have those accounts will certainly use it to snipe and dodge bgs.
Yeah like 10 other threads on this exist.
This video was created with the thought that servers would be like they were in Vanilla. The ultra competitive atmosphere will produce such an insane amount of premades that trying to dodge them will result in a massive drop in honor per hour. This method will be naturally useless. Also you need to lose 1 scout each time you do it too.
Trust me…the problem people will have won’t be queue dodging, it’ll probably be whatever pugs left running into a nearly infinite amount of premades.
Also what if two scouts jump into a game? Are they gonna play a game of chicken and wait to see what jumps in? What if one side jumps in and then the opponents leave? Did the leavers just donate a free game for the other premade while they wait in queue for another?
I know the forums will be filled with pugs crying about premades but the RBG mindset will create so many premades (good and bad) that queue dodging will be self destructive.
#NoChanges.
No Changes there is nothing to address don’t like dodging? don’t do it.
Nope, you’re premades are gonna get dodged.

The OP video keeps talking about how it “just turns into a mindless grind” bruh, have you ever looked at the pvp system? mindless grinding is what it’s literally ALL ABOUT.
Sadly in WoW as in any game, if people can cheat they will.
I remember the old god codes back when I was younger and playing PC games. It always puzzled me that people would seek out these god codes that gave them unlimited money or abilities since it seemed to defeat the purpose of playing the game the way it was intended. Looks like this queue dodging is another type of god code, an unintended way to cheat the system for an end result that cannot really give any honest satisfaction. Certainly they get to the top but they don’t do it by playing the game honestly or as it is obviously intended to be played. You may as well just have a P2W system.
I think the extended deserter buff and/or single bg queue system is probably the most obvious fix, though Blizzard may have other means under consideration. I doubt they are unaware of it and would be crazy to just let it happen.
All those “fixes” you want are waiting for you in BFA.
That is such a tired unoriginal response.
Making use of an exploit or a method that circumvents the intentions of the game designers has nothing to do with the whole nochange thing. Try to grow a sense of proportion.
I don’t watch videos that people post as “clickbait”. Sorry.
But scientists tell us that humans are smart. There has never been a system (especially a game) that humans haven’t figured out ways to “cheat” or “dodge”.
Blizzards job is to produce the system – NOT to spend countless time and money enforcing it and making sure that nobody cheats.
Not for $15/mo. Can’t be done. Sorry.
Sure it does. Copying a 2006 game means WE WILL NOT copy fixes that went into the real game after 2006. Even if we know what to fix.
There ARE NO game designers for Classic. It was designed in 2006.
Classic is not a “new, better, 2019 version” with all the fixes etc. There is no “team, constantly working to improve Classic”.
