Just curious has there been any mention or info on what we will have in SL. I assume corruption will be gone and was only meant to be a bfa themed disaster. But could be wrong?
They said no rng of that sort, no wf/tf/corruption.

Ion also said at the start of BFA that, “item level is all that will matter in choosing gear in BFA”.
So maybe hold off counting those chickens, lets see how many hatch first

Besides 1-2 pieces of corrupt gear, that is the case.

How does it not matter in BFA
Because the Devs never flat out lie to our faces or change things drastically mid-expac.
Even before corruption Azerite abilities and secondaries massively overpowered iLvl. In extreme cases I could get a 30 iLvl azerite upgrade that would sim for thousands less than my current gear.
Post about the issue for my rogue
Still hasn’t got an azerite upgrade from the titan vendor.
I’m honestly fine with that. It’ll make me happy when something actually drops. Not “did it titanforge or get a good corruption? No? Trash.”
Once I get the bis drop I’m done with that slot until the next tier or expac.

Look at all the DK guides. IL>everything else.

Rings, Trinkets, Gear with sockets. Azerite traits, and corruption - all supercede any ilvl considerations.
Notice how every melee/physical damage is using Razor Coral as BIS from a tier ago???

Funny then how all BDK guides say IL>everything else and the top parsing Mythic Raid BDKs are using Nya trinkets/gear and not prior raids’ gear.
Maybe if you guys would stop playing broken specs, they’d actually fix them.

They say there’s no warforging, titanforging, or corruptforging of any sort there. This may also mean no shadowforging, spiritforging, lightforging, vampireforging, starforging, toiletforging, nachoforging, or any other type of forging upgrade systems in the works, either.
Time will tell if it was a lie and symbioforging becomes a thing “that’s totally not titanforging you guys”.
