Has anyone managed to beat all 20 "Main" Mission Table Missions as Venthyr?

I’ve managed it on my Kyrian, Necrolord, and Night Fae.

But I’m stuck on the final mission on my Venthyr. I’ve tried so many combinations, but I’ve yet to find one that works.

This is the closest I’ve managed to make it come:

(Venture Plan is pretty much 100% accurate on how it works, from what I’ve seen)

Are Venthyr troops just THAT much weaker than the other covenants? I haven’t even started trying the Soul Ash missions on my toons cause of the anima cost, but I at least wanted to finish the 20 main missions.

Yes, I’ve beaten this. I was about your level so I’m pretty sure you can do it too.

I didn’t write down what I used or anything, but I’m fairly certain I beat it with my standard main team, which has a front row of Nadjia, Dug, and Draven (IN THAT ORDER!). For my back row I had Theotar and Stonehuck for this mission to murder their back row.

I’ll try that setup tomorrow, but I swear I have before, and just haven’t come close to finishing it. If anyone else has cleared it and knows their setup, lemme know.

What do you even get for clearing all the main missions? Pretty sure I’ve stopped after getting all the table mounts.

Higher level missions.

More Augment Rune missions, etc.

People play the mission table? I did the two opening missions when you unlock the table, and not looked at it ever since  I burnt out the mission table thing back in wod. Did pretty much the same in BFA, and Legion. That crap belongs on a smart phone app, and should stay there.

Currently at 48.

I did hit a few walls while in the 20s though. Started using the Covenant Mission Helper addon helped me get out of it.

Is it just that your troops are too low?

I have the same number of Heroes as you (17), but mine range from 53- 49. I’ve been particular to always push the lowest group so they’re all about the same. And, most importantly, have prioritized: XP missions, Anima, Gold, whatever else (Augment Runes, etc)… and generally HAVE NOT taken the “advance the story” missions.

I’ve done very few of those because… why would I want to make things harder for the Covenant with the WORST Mission table???

It also seems to be working out better for me because I send my Heroes out on a lv48-lv36 mission, and they absolutely STOMP it, come back at near full-health… I can turn them right around and send them out again without having to wait or spend Anima to heal.

I have the WoW app on my iPod, so it’s not hard to get 4-6 missions a day out of them. They never have to stop.

The whole “advance the mission table” missions are a trick that actually makes it WORSE for you in the long term. Those mounts and things you’re chasing? They’ll still be there once I decide to push my Heroes higher. It’ll just be that much easier when I do it.

The Missions this time around seemed like some sort of weak attempt to encourage ppl to play Hearthstone. But it’s just HORRIBLE. ESPECIALLY if you’re Venthyr! omg we got so utterly shafted with how bad our Mission table is.

But you certainly make it worse by pushing those “story mode” quests too early.

I cleared Night Fae post-nerf with level 40s. I cleared Kyrian with level 38s. I cleared Necrolord with level 32s.

I should be more than capable of clearing it with level 41s.

I’m not sure how you have your troops so high though. You must be plowing through your anima to send them on missions. I do it once a day.

Except, as you said: what you SHOULD be able to do, you cannot because Venthyr mission table SUCKS. That’s just the reality of it.

As I said, I’m not using any Anima on them at all. I have SUPER high level Heroes that I send on lowbie missions. They come back at FULL HEALTH! When they come back, I can send them right back out again.

edit to add: I’m still getting XP missions. You just have to make sure you push your lowest 5 on every XP mission that pops so your overall total keeps going up.

I’ve done SOME of the story-mode missions so I Slowly progress. But I haven’t done many… 3-4? I’m getting Augment Rune missions, I get 1800 XP missions. afaik, I’m not missing anything/ holding myself back in terms of PROGRESSION.

I’m not ready for mounts and stuff yet, but I don’t care about that. They’re not going anywhere. When I have 17 Heroes, all at lv60… I can blast out attempts at that like nothing. That’s my plan.

They are on a app.

Every mission costs anima. Any mission that gives 500 or more experience costs 50 anima.

Just doing 4 missions a day costs me usually 100-150 anima a day.

At the rate you do missions, you must be plowing through 500+.

Oh you mean just to SEND them. The XP missions, I’m sure. But you only get like 1-3 of those a day.

All the other Anima and Gold type missions are piddly. The Anima ones are like 12 Anima! lol They’re basically free.

I can’t imagine I’m spending 500 Anima a day. I don’t play that much. My best guess would be… 100-200 a day? Even that seems absurdly high, as I think about it.

I did it, my advice is use doomed run to choose your followers, after using it to send your weaker followers on easier missions, then use the calculating aspect to rearrange them.

Mainly for success with “doomed run” choosing:

step 1: use it on lesser missions to get weaker followers out of the pool
step 1 a: edit party on those and use the calculating aspect for success on those
Step 2: use doomed run on the missions you are trying to clear, make sure you have a decent amount of followers though/
Step 3: edit party and calculate, if there is any chance of victory, start mission, if not send on easier ones for at least base exp and try again later

Said no wow player ever haha.

lol right?

But my job takes 9-10 hours of my day (with commute). I enjoy cooking, I prep and cook a meal every night (1+ hour). I’m a musician, I practice my instrument for about an hour every day.

All my other “real” stuff comes first. I play WoW after everything else. I play WoW about 10 hours A WEEK … and I know plenty of ppl that play that much IN A DAY.

And I know some would say 10 hours a week is a lot. But I think it’s a fair amount for everything else in my life.

I stand by the claim that “it’s not that much.”

This team only gets it to 21%.

This team from wowhead seems to be victorious:

Setup upper line (left to right):
Nadjia
General Draven
Theotar
Setup lower line (left to right):
Rahel
Stonehuck

Actually SL has the best mission playstyle. BfA were terrible. Wod was ok.

Yeah kind of reminds me of Yu Gi Oh Duel Monsters game for the original Gameboy just with some better graphics  Only difference is that you get to step away from the mission table for a few hours lol. Let’s get the Konami developers over here, and let them take over for these blizz devs lol.
