Normally I would get these mounts from the raid tiers in previous expacs since they were actual +1’s. But since these things are just customisations to existing mounts, I just immediately stopped caring. Anyone else feel this way?

They’ll eventually be twitch drops or appear in the trading post. So, less need to stress over them. If you get one great, if not, no worries.

I care about them enough to want them, but not enough to try and get them.

To me, getting the AOTC mount isn’t the point.
The point is to challenge myself and my friends to be the best players we can be as a team. We learn how to synergize our abilities, compensate for each others weaknesses and innovate on how to progress.
The mount is like the equivelant of a diploma: nice to have but not nearly as valuable as everything that it took to get it.

The pretty “arcane” bird from Argus AOTC is the last mount I bothered buying/paying a guild for a boost
I always try to get AOTC…sometimes I fail, but I always try. I haven’t liked any of the mount skins that I can remember, so that is never part of the goal, it’s just a side reward.
This is how I felt about whatherface’s skin. Razagath (idfk).
I was going to farm for it but it’s not a +1 so “meh.” I will get the AOTC skin from the fire dude so my proto-drake looks fab and I’ll enjoy the crying it triggers a year from now.
I’m going to buy the skin with gold so that’ll trigger twice as much crying.

I like the boss manuscripts, but then I got the rare manuscript on my very first Fyrakk kill.
It balances out the 100+ Raz kills I needed to do to get her manuscript.
Me too! Never saw the Raz or Sark ones and kinda prefer both of them though
The last time I wanted an aotc mount was the legion spellwing thing that changes colour.
Past that, I’ve been whatever to it.
DF has some nice ‘‘customizations’’ manuscripts per se but hard pass
I would’ve had to start caring to stop caring.

I wish one of the boss manuscripts would have been for the other dragon riding mounts, like the Wylderdrake. Seems silly not to spread the love to the other models.

I main druid and evoker, so mounts arent as important
This tier does have a +1 mount though.
It also has a skin customization for drakes.
It has both.
The previous tiers only had the skin.
Yes because 1) there is nothing rare about. I was just in Valdraken and it was FILLED with that mount. 2) I will never use a dragon riding mount again when we get the dynamic flight toggle

So far, I think Blizz has only rereleased cosmetics that were available through promotions and/or the cash shop. Have they done this for anything that was an achievement? I feel like Blizz drew a line here that a lot of people aren’t seeing.

I never cared for the rewards to begin with. If anything, if was just being able to overcome the challenge itself with friends/family. Though since I got neither friends or family playing the game with me, I don’t care to attempt them. Mount wise, I got the Headless Horseman mount, which is the only mount I really wanted in World of Warcraft.
