I had a lot of deleted characters that would pop up in the Restore Deleted Character screen, some of them have been there for years, and within the last week they’ve all seemingly vanished. I’m not complaining, they’re deleted for a reason, but I found it strange that they all disappeared around the same time. Was there some kind of mass-delete that happened?
There’s a blue article somewhere that explains how long the characters continue to exist before permanent deletion. The permanent deletion is a new thing. I’ve had some characters on the deleted list for several years.

Yeah, I’ve read through it a couple times and those characters I’m referring to have been deleted for much longer than the given time they mentioned. it’s just bizarre. Just yesterday I was looking through the list, and today when I logged in that list was completely empty lol
I learned decades ago not to store things in a waste basket.

Think they keep them for a year now (60+ lv charaters).
They changed it recently so now you only see the deleted characters on your realm, rather than all your deleted characters. Originally my deleted characters list was long because it included Moon Guard, Wyrmrest Accord, Scarlet Crusade, and even Silver Hand characters. Now? It only shows Moon Guard characters because I’m on Moon Guard. If I want to restore my deleted Wyrmrest characters, I have to select Wyrmrest.
Time limits changed for them. Most of mine are gone too. We got zero notice they were changing it. Went to get a character I realized had the Legion Class Hall artifacts unlocked that I accidentally deleted a while back. Completely gone.
