I feel that they are too tall! The playable gnomes are multiplied by a scale factor of 1.3, they are almost as tall as dwarves! Reduce gnome height!
they do get short with you…big tempers

Gnomes are short because they wish they were hobbits. Unfortunately the Tolkien Estate decided they’d rather lock down on everything they could than allow hobbits to become a fantasy staple like Elves, Dwarves, and all the rest.

As a dwarf, I appreciate gnomes since they give me someone to look down on.

No, I have not noticed that.
I have noticed that Elves are unnaturally tall. It must be difficult for them to cope with all that altitude. 
D&D just called them halflings, and uh, also has gnomes.
Guys in the NBA say the same thing about the rest of us.
