Which is better?
Harry Potter hands down.
Harry Potter has house elves. House elves are the worst elves.
Warcraft is better.
Warcraft, in my eyes, is better.
Harry Potter lore is not so grand nor fleshed out, no matter how many retcons Warcraft receives minute-by-minute, itâs still more magnificent and imaginative than Harry Potterâs. Itâs also, to a degree, more relateable. Harry Potter, every now and again, just has a tug of heart strings here and there.
Goats are much better than dead fish.
You are a gorgeous goat, yes you are~
Is that how you got your post count?
Space goats all the way
If there was a Harry Potter MMORPG Iâd have left this garbage long ago
Aloe hammora
I tried trolling like some others do here, but I dont like vacations.
Harry Potter has sissy magic, ugly House âElvesâ, no demons or world-ending abominations from beyond, and the only race shown any prominence are Humans.
Warcraft has many villains, ranging from racist nutcases and organized crime syndicates, evil demon and eldritch worshipping cults, and greater universe-threatening monsters like Sargeras and the Void Lords. Harry Potter has a gaggle of dumbass racists lead by a bargain-bin Sociopathic inbred Wizard Hitler.
Yeah, Warcraft pretty much wins. Gulâdan was the closest to Voldemort in terms of character, and Gulâdan was still more interesting in personality, style, background, and goals compared to Voldemort.
Definitely Warcraft though, itâs lore and world is just too expansive by comparison.
Hm⌠I think Kilâjaeden kind of fits the role of Voldemort a little better, and Velen would be Dumbledore.
I would take a house elf pet though. One that I could slap around.
Warcraft. The entire Harry Potter series is about some kid whoâs only special because the scourge of the wizarding world tried to use powerful dark magic to kill a baby he knew might be protected from it instead of doing literally anything else. Seriously, how do you screw up killing a baby?
Not really. Kilâjaeden was a genuinely well-meaning man who was willing to use the âends justify the meansâ to save the universe from the Void, and he still felt large amounts of regret for what happened to Argus and his people. He just justified it by telling himself that it was âfor the greater goodâ.
Archimonde was much closer to Voldemort, being a power-mongering sociopath who used everyone else around him, betrayed even âfriendsâ who were no longer useful to him like Thalâkiel, and was willing to go to any lengths to become more powerful and dominate others. Which is similar to Voldemort in being a prideful and murderous sociopath.
Ah, my bad, youâre right. I didnât mean Kilâjaeden. Dx He was just the one that came to mind for some reason. Youâre right, youâre right~
Harry Potter Lore makes no sense.
And it doesnât matter how many retcons wow receives, at least it makes sense.
I honestly donât think I could pick. I enjoy both a great deal but feel the worlds they happen in are so different. Itâs kinda like saying I an orange is hands down better than corn.
When your âbig-badâ villain canât even take over a damn High School, how can anyone take him or the whole story seriously.
