With harronir being a new race that is 90% going to be an allied race (full armor custimization and intense player only custimization options) id figure its good chance to put my imput on why i think demon hunters should be avaible to them.

  1. They have bat ears and a feral look that would make a dhs version of them look more fel demon corrupted then night elfs and blood elfs. While nightelfs have alot of custimization thats added for dhs theres something special about having tusks and bat ears that scream “im demon infused” plus the quills having a fel glow would be cool.

  2. We need more dh options and this is a good midway. Harronir are more beast like but still use the same rig as night elfs so it wouldnt take alot of work to make it possible. They also wouldnt be a shock to most dh players who would like dh to be left to only elfs since they share the same skeleton, the main difference being thicker female dhs.

  3. Its time for dhs to have more revelance in the current story. With the legion gone the dhs can finally shift their focus on the void which is the main enemy in this series. There are two mentions in the illidian book about dhs relation to the void. One being when illidian was on the demon planet of the dreadlords looks for the argus map. He finds records of the fel fighting the void and takes note going “what threat could be so great even the legion fear it” also mentioning that he will have to deal with this threat after he finishes the legion.

The second mention is a vision the naru give illidian fighting the void with light. We know that didnt happen but it doesnt mean illidian wouldnt fight the void just that he wont do it as a lightforged.

Its been a long enough time for dhs to hunt the remaining demons and learn how to make new dhs illidian doesnt need to be the only one who does it.

There could be some cool lore and story to be told with some of the remaining legion going into hiding underground where they caused some trouble for the harronir and dhs helping them and making new dhs in order to fight the nerubian.

Sorry this is a jumbled mess i typed this on my phone in a hurry. Anyways hope some of you agree! Im already collecting some the bat looking warglaives just in case this becomes avaible which is a longshot but easyer to farm now then later.

If they cant write lore for a 3rd spec and use that as an excuse… they cant write lore for more races.

None of your reasons address the fact that they weren’t at Black Temple with Illidan. Demon Hunters aren’t just fel-users; we are the results of a particular transformation process that Illidan developed, combined with a fighting style taught by his trainers. This wasn’t something glamorous most would sign up for. 80% did not survive the transformation, and half the survivors killed themselves afterwards.

I swear most of you do not care about the story and only want something that looks cool. You probably don’t read quests either. :rofl:
