Harronir Certainly Aren't Nelves

That is kind of funny though. I mean, it says something about what Blizzard is thinking in regards to this.

“If other people see it, it is a Night Elf, when you see it, it’s a Haranir”

Only if you feed him.

Blizzard also said that they at first intended Ardenweald to be a part of Bastion. Blizzard seldom speaks with one voice, and that choir aren’t always in concordance

So you don’t think that the eternal night deciduous forest that has stars fall from trees, which is the announced default afterlife of all nature loving souls (which nelves are), with the sister of elune, and ysera, which ish talks troll loa, who only saves night elf souls (amongst player race souls which are saved in this regard) is a night elf zone??

???

lmao.

Well the real question is how many toes do they have on each foot. If it’s three on one and five on the other, we are doomed to endless debate.

If blizz leave them the way they are like what they did to the Dracthyr? Then people can make some judgement and that can be up in the air that everyone can suggest.

Could they be some sort of troll variant or troll/elf mix?

Too short to even be either troll or elf.

With the timeline of when Eonar had her Keeper Freya initiate Project:Elun’ahir being shortly before the Titans left to go get wrecked by Sargeras, which was in turn shortly after the Black Empire fell, I actually am wondering if the Harronir are further back the evolutionary tree (har har) than just a branch of dark troll.

So, it go something like this:

[Proto-Trolls (created by azeroth(?) ] → Trolls → All The Elves
↳ Harronir (Shaped by Freya, charged with their task)

Eonar personally planted the Tree with Freya being put in charge of Wild Gods and Nature, Alexstrasza put in charge of Life Forms and Nymue & Ysera put in charge of the Emerald Dream.

If anything the Harranir would have been placed by Eonar herself to guard the gift Elune gave her.

Or possibly an adjacent third race. The tusks, the accents, all pretty much speak troll, but they seem to be as lithe as night elves.

They are basically the Nav’ii from Avatar. All we’re missing is the HFY-centric call for their genocide.

I think Harronir is the intermediate stage between troll and night elf.

Part of me thinks the Harronir are an evolutionary offshoot from the early trolls. Basically they chose to live underground instead of living above ground.

In Eberron, the Grand Druid is an awalemed oak tree. And as I recall, the druids are mostly orcs.

The ones on Mount Hyjal that were friends with the Night Elves and helped them during Warcraft 3 were wiped out in Cata. The Dark Trolls from wherever the rootlands evolved to the Harranir are the ones we see in TWW. That’s my take on it. They’re clearly evolved trolls and share nearly the same traits as Night Elves. Except instead of slurping Well of Eternity juice they had direct Life energies from the roots of Elunahir. Thus evolving into what they are today. Trolls/Elves are the Eevees of World of Warcraft.

What does that have to do with the price of oak in oakland?
