With the introduction of the Harronir (primal bat troll people in the cinematic), I’d love to have them as a playable race. This being said, I would really enjoy it if they introduced them to a new class that fits them thematically, something like a battle dancer. Agi-based class, having one spec that focuses on up-close combat: lots of mobility, ability chaining, multi-casting. Maybe a buff-centric healing spec, kinda like Aug Voker, and then an int-based spec that is more spiritual or caster-based, which could be DPS or a healing spec.
Another MMO I used to play, Dragon Nest, had a similar class called “Kali,” which would be a great base/jump point/inspiration for it.

Harronir are totally gonna be playable, the customization and their inclusion in the trailer enforce it.
I remember people said the same about Night Fae.
I’m glad that never happened.

I was never on board with that because the evidence was bad.
Please no new classes. We can’t even balance the ones we have.

Mailbox dancing will never be the same again. And if it doesnt match with the cinematic, we riot.

Harronir are a race and what they showed in the video looked more like a shaman so I think they will be able to stick with some of the current classes .

Probably the dressing room allowing for mogs and having the same sort of customizations that Vulpera had before they became playable.
Oh, I know. I was replying to the OP talking about adding in a new class to go with them.
My personal opinion is please no more classes right now
I thought sethrak also had playable race lvls of customization but here we are, without them as a playable race still.
I’m just trying to not get my hopes up preemptively.
I don’t remember that they did but they definitely couldn’t wear mogs. But it is always good to temper expectations.
Tbf dracthyr can’t soooo that argument shouldn’t stop them from being playable!! But yeah if I don’t get my hopes up then I can’t be disappointed. I would make a hunter and Druid in a heartbeat if Harronir were playable.
While that’s true, they also have a form that can wear mogs. So one of their forms do fall into that common theme. But yeah for sure, nothing guarantees anything. Because Blizz could feel that the more humanoid version of Nerubians could be their other allied race and skip over Harronir. But I too want one. For a Druid. We’ll see what they do.

I agree that Harronir seem likely to be made playable, and it really looks like they will be. It’s funny that you mention they should come with a new class, because I was struggling with what class I would make if they came out. I was wanting some sort of vine wielding nature caster.
The idea of a dancing class is super cool. I would love that. But there’s just no way. We just got a new class, so I don’t think we’ll see one until Midnight or TLT. But hey, you never know, and it’s fun to speculate.
Eh, coming from FFXIV it’s “fine” kind of feminine in my opinion but that’s all it is. My opinion.
Tbh far more interested in the Harronir then lame titan constructs that look goofy as hell and they actually look more unique like if I remember correctly they actually had two feet options one being beast feet which is just so cools would 100% make a Harronir.
