Theres a situation i feel developers should fix.
Specially because Im sure it happen to alot of people.
Yesterday i was using my 5 harmonized Silk for catalyst.
Acidentally 2 of them i used on wrong gear (that the catalyst does nothing, was belt and boots). Theres no reverting this mistake, a GM cant do anything about it. And now i gotta wait 2 weeks for harmozied silk.
Soo how difficult would it be for :
harmozied silk/catalyst only be appliable on gear that actually works on.
or if you aint feeling to fix developer part at least allow GM to revert this mistakes people do.
Its such a frustrating situation, and fixing it doesnt cost you anything, doesnt mess with any balance of anything, it doesnt affect other player, etc…
You will want to edit your OP and move it over to the Professions forums. Devs don’t come here for suggestions and feedback. So you’re kind of posting to the nether here.
Do you mean it didn’t convert the item, or that you are upset it’s not part of the tier bonus?
It shows you what the item will be converted into and whether or not it is included as part of the bonus set. Ultimately it’s on the player to make sure that they are doing is what they mean/want to do. The game gives you a warning popup and a countdown to make sure it’s what you want.
While the belt and boots don’t convert to tier pieces, the catalyst actually does do something to them. It can convert a belt or boots to the set pieces (non tier) for people that may want to complete the set look / transmog.
Part of an MMO is making choices that effect out individual game play. We, as players need to be more careful when making those choices.
But it does cost Blizzard money in employee wages. If they were to choose to fix every little thing that players make “mistakes” with, they’d have to hire more people. They’ve chosen to put their efforts into something more beneficial to all players.
This is not a place to provide feedback, as others have stated.
The catalyst works on all armor. It is very clear about the pieces with the set bonus and previews what item you will get, which will be different than the item that you put in with specific stat breakdowns.
