Hardware question?

I recently had to put a new HD (SATA) in my pc, now it’s saying it’s not a x64 based system, no an x86?

I’ve tried a few things, wow worked fine before the change, any ideas would be appreciated, thank you

This English is painful to read man please revise what you’re saying.

The difference is if your pc is able to run 64 bit or 32 bit… I guess you’re trying to say you have a 32 bit system capability therefore you’re probably trying to use the 64 bit client and it’s not working because it’s not compatible. So simply use the 32 bit client

That’s your operating system. Check what version of Windows you are using or purchased.

If the HD was used, it may of had an old OS on it, and wasn’t properly formatted. You should properly format all new HDs to get rid of any bloatware and non-intended partitions.

I suspect with the new hard drive Windows was installed as 32 bit instead of 64 bit. Only solution is to reinstall Windows with 64 bit. Some Windows install media has both options so you might just need to make the right selection when installing. If you don’t have the option then you need the 64 but media.

Also do a Google search got downloading Windows 10. There are official Microsoft links to do this legally.

You can try copy paste this url from a Windows PC. https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10
