The hardest thing for me to learn in Hardcorpse has be to run away if a fight looks like it might be close.
On a normal server, if I am a little low on health and I pick up a couple adds, I’ll keep fighting, figuring there’s a decent chance I can pop a health pot and kill all three. But, in Hardcorpse, I don’t want to risk that 10% chance of dying, so, I run away. And that’s been really hard to teach myself, leading to some very low health situations.
What’s been the most hardest lesson you’ve had to learn in Hardcorpse?

This, and forcing myself to do quests at my lvl or lower. On normal server im not afraid to do quest 2 or 3 llvl higher, but in HC it’s some bad idea. So now Ive been teaching myself do basically do all quest from all zone of my lvl or lower even. Especially true when i play warrior haha

I had to learn to never open your map while running, especially down the main road in Duskwood…

My hunter returned some dried meat to Tundra McGrann and ended up with 7 hp after a muscle spasm sent him down the cliff.

There was a guy that died in Ironforge from typing while running and fell into the lava.

Hardcore is more about surviving encounters instead of dominating them, especially when soloing.
You should just run away all the time.
Start every fight at 100% HP. not 90%…100%. Nearly died to a bad pull of 3 mobs and survived with 5HP as I ran away hoping I outranged the caster and could get unleashed. Had I not been at 100% to start…dead.
Some Caster Mobs hurt like hell. I as getting chunked last night by some caster murlocs in ashenvale. After nearly dying 3 times to the, I just decided that this quest was not for me at this time as solo. So now I approach all caster mobs with caution until I get a feel for them.
Use Potions like candy. I think I’ve used more pots in HC 1-20 than I have in the entirety of my wow career starting day 2 of classic. And if I use one, I’ve learned to wait until the CD is back before going again. that 2 minute wait can save literal days of play time.
But man am I having fun…

what’s the deal with this hardcorpse meme 
Care about respawn times and pushing in too deep and don’t try to save your hearthstone’s CD, if you know you’re going to have a hard time making it out.
