Hey friends, just wondering if there is 1 spell in wow that hits the hardest? Say everyone was in equal ilvl gear, same buffs ect. Just curious as I was pvp’ing as I re rolled to ret and didn’t realise wake of ashes hit THAT hard. Now I’m curious. Thank you.
If you mean like a single ability with raw scaling, then i think it’s Balance druid full moon

Yes it does. The only issue is the rng.

Ya, most of the time it seems to tickle people or spread itself out so broadly nothing really takes any meaningful damage. Sometimes I suspect it’s doing things like hitting squirrels and rabbits.
That one that gets me the most is aimed shot.
Probably full moon or a Crit Arcane Barrage buffed by Arcane Harmony and Radiant Spark, i’ve got a 360k crit once.
I’ve seen a video of a mage hitting 470k.

What about mass spamming stormstrikes in ascendance form?
Burning Blade Cultist’s shadow flare. That stuff 1 shot a warrior in full heirlooms I seent it.

This question came up during Legion. Everybody was arguing this or that pet ability. And when I said “Light’s Wrath”, they were all like, yeah. One-shot a boss with that.
You could also say Paladins with Reckoning in Vanilla before it got super nerfed.
