Hardest Class/Spec?

What do you think? Which class has the hardest rotations?

Fire/arcane are up there for me. Whenever I play mage casually I find myself forgetting about one or two abilities I need to press to have good output and end up pissing all the damage away. Outlaw rogue is up there too.

My vote goes for BM hunter and Havoc DH

Yeah with a whole 3 buttons, its hard to know what to do in each given scenario.
Hunters have a hard life.

In mythic+ this season using the meta builds, cases could be made for arcane, brewmaster, disc, feral, unholy, enhance, affliction, probably more. I’m biased.

Heard from friends that DH requires more skill now. Dunno how true.

Yes, DH still being easy is a meme. Good havoc dh use their sigils and other cc well, play the momentum build while managing their positioning against heaps of frontals, and run fodder to the flame. The performance isn’t worth the work. I don’t envy them.

Sub rogue for me

Haven’t played all the classes but rogue and frost mage top my list.

Of all the ones I play, Sub Rogue is the most difficult to play in a group.

Mages and Hunters are easy to play up to a mediocre level, but can be complicated to get the best out of.

I’d argue Sub Rogue. Or really Rogue in general. It’s real easy to mess up their rotation. And when you do it hits hard.

Enhance if only due to all the buttons they have to manage.

at first it was monk when i was trying to heal but i got it. i just don’t like the healing style at the end of the day lol. hardest ones are the ones you don’t enjoy

Right now it’s Disc or Sub Rogue

im bias, ill say disc. only because i need to hit 2x more buttons than the next healer to do the same healing number while managing atonements and mana

i think arcane is supremely unforgiving. I wanted to main it for this expac, but gave up.

I also struggle with havoc. like with many classes, i guess, if you dont line up your CDs just right, you lose a ton of damage. With havoc’s movement requirements, I know i lose a lot of uptime especially on single targets.

I often have a hard time seeing exactly where the hit box is to keep the white damage going.

Im still trying to get it.
Might need to download a few addons to learn what the heck im doing with mw.

In the proving grounds i can just barely scrape a gold.

Thankfully i got the title for the endless dps one with windwalker so at least im doing that spec right.

Even brewmaster i do fine with.

But mw? I just dont get it haha

It went from one of the most boring simple specs in the game to well…what it is now. At the very least they got rid of ROP. I think it would be funny if they did the same thing to beastmastery. Turn easy as hell specs into a monstrosity for the memes.

I would welcome that.
Running around with your favourite animals is awesome from a class fantasy perspective.

Its just a shame the gameplay is so slow and boring.

Let them make hunter fun i say :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m puzzled at all the responses saying sub. Outlaw is more work for worse results!

Yea I think it was a net positive for arcane overall, even though I can’t even complete the initial burst worth a damn. Arcane fell into the meme category for a long time because of how simple it was, the revamped version does well to the spec fantasy. At the same time however, it might be important to have those really simple classes for those with disabilities. It’s nice to have one or two specs that are playable if you break your wrist or something.

Probably because it would require people to play outlaw to know
