Hardest class to master? Highest Skill-cap?

I’m curious as to what you guys think. Which class is hardest to master or highest skill-cap in PvP?

I think that it’s Mage, Feral and Priest.

I think WW is. Why imo it’s hardly ever seen in pvp, even though the class is S tier and consistently really good in pvp. Won NA blizz in bfa.

Even though the class performs extremely well, it doesn’t have the fotm wave that other classes get like locks, dh, wars, rogues etc, which are much easier.

Just watch the pro-active steps/reading drake/chun/trill do to survive. The class doesn’t have an idiot button like iceblock or divineshield.

Sub rogue in 3s is by far the most difficult spec in the game. Any other answer is just hard cope by players who probably couldn’t even break 1200 on one.

Mage. After you get used to using 12 plus binds each for Modifiers ALT, CNTRL and SHIFT you can then start trying to wrap your head around how to play the class. Once you get there you can start to form some ideas on how many ways you can outplay other classes.

I tend to not give Rogue much credit because of the innate advantage Perma stealth provides. Everything about a Rogue plays around the stealth advantage so it limits its depth IMO.

Prot Paladin. They have to play healer, dps, and cc’er at the same time (while taking 50% increased damage btw). Only a few gods like Mortalx and Bramot can make it work.

Factual and true statement

lazy bait

anyway, feral/priest/mage/survival hunter/windwalker all have incredibly high skill ceilings

doesnt really take into account something like fire mage being the way it was bfa-shadowlands, just more of a general thing

i want to throw preservation evoker on there already too but it’s too early to know for sure

Mage is not hard.
I’m main priest and healer it’s average, shadow is braindead.

Restoration and feral are the hardest. Also Healers in Shadowlands and especially DF are hard to play and it’s way easier to climb ratings as DPS. As a healer you need to have a far more game awareness than a dps.

Please… My friend rolled a rogue and played with me 2s and got 2.3k rating in 2 weeks for playing the first time, not to mention he had more than half bg gear.

Honestly it is probably rogue as you have to cross-cc like crazy and setup kills. Don’t know how DF will play out though.

No. That is easy. Feral druid.

Im super good at Sub rogue. That is the only spec of rogue that I ever play.

Rogue but not Sub.

Feral used to be.

I don’t think the new feral is especially hard to play anymore. They’ve taken steps to make it way more accessible anyway.

I think it’s WW at the moment. That class is so incredibly fragile. WW has the capacity to delete people extremely hard right now, but they also just get thanos snapped from existence just as easily.

They have a lot of really high skill cap use skills like rop and they need to be able to predict when damage is coming and kite it out or avoid it all together.

The difference between a really really good WW and an average one is going to be massive.

DPS; Feral I think

Healer; Resto Shaman. Amount of crazy utility you have and keybinds alone is insane, let alone knowing how to use each one effectively. Also you get trained. Every. Match. So you need to know how to survive under immense pressure, or just reroll.

Tank; None
