Did you see this???
Average Doordash order out - $20, month-long sub to WoW - $15…yeah not cheap at all…personally, I think $15 is actually quite a steal especially when you consider the music ingame is worth the price alone. You aren’t a boomer just looking for an exit are you? Because if so, feel free everyone needs a break now and again, but I will tell you like everyone else…you’ll be back
It’s crazy how fast the leveling is in this game compared to ff14
My problem with people complaining about the UI not being complete, this isn’t just an expansion feature. They will continue to work on and improve the UI and its customization. People need to be patient. I’d rather they spend most of their development time making DF great, and using the spare time to adjust the UI. If they waited until everything was perfect to implement it we’d never get anything. You can’t just reprogram everything in a day. Give them time.
And if you can’t justify spending $15 a month or roughly .5 a day on a hobby, I don’t think the UI is the underlying issue…
Youre right, but they didnt have a day. Theyve had months of PTR, and whatever internal dev before that.
Theres honestly no excuse for a half implemented feature
In that same time they were also working on Dragon Riding, Talent Trees, Dungeons, Raids, a new class and race, etc.
Exactly and even if I was on a super tight budget, i would still choose the monthly $15 if I had to pick only one entertainment medium…
Most streaming platforms are almost the same cost now except the smaller ones…
I havent used addons in several years.
What is shameful is this post.
The game is quality, the service is quality and you’re trollin.
Sadly that just moves target and target of target together as one. Id like to move ToT independently
Different teams work on different systems. You didnt have the same people working on Encounters, that then turn around and work on UI/Systems
This is the straw that broke the camels back?! Lmao people love to be mad for no reason
Download numbers on addons is how you know a huge amount of people use them. It’s not like it’s only 10k people downloading DBM nearly 400 million times
Uh have you ever tried to interact with customer support or submitted a ticket. I have to believe you haven’t if you think the service is quality.
Why must we accuse everyone we don’t agree with of trolling? Does anyone actually know the meaning of the term anymore?
I really doubt this, tbh.
Unless we talk people who leveled to 29 and never played again, i just dont see this for people actually doing any content. Even pet battlers have addons they use.
Anyway, OP, if you hate the new ui, just use your addons and stop crying. I think the new default looks fine.
I am sure this is true. Here is how I know:
I have played low level twinks in dungeons since Legion. They do crazy damage. But unlike some twinks who run way from the group and annoy people, I say nothing.
Now if your alt was in one of those dungeons, you would be using a meter, because with a meter in your addons folder, it would automatically become an addon for your alt.
And if you saw a low level doing 75% of the damage in the dungeon, you would probably say something. People do say something. They are seriously confused at what they are seeing on their meters. But that happens in only 1 in 20 dungeons or so. 1 in 100 players is running a meter and notices something very strange going on.
Back in the day my kids got me playing WoW and the first thing they and it seemed like everyone else told me to get certain add-ons.
Add-ons have been essential ever since.
…and yes, its getting harder for me to give my money to Blizzard too.
all blizz is doing is rehashing content and systems , i wont be buying the new expansion until its at 50% the price it is now.
reworking systems that dont need messing with in the first place is not content as far as i am concerned , esp when you have to spend the next yr re balancing or fixing them all over again.
…spray painting my old shoes and giving them back to me a different colour is still giving me my old shoes back.
If it’s reason enough for someone to quit, then you’ve lost them, maybe forever. Mocking them for how they feel may make you feel better, but it sure as heck never kept anyone playing who was on the fence.
