I was bummed when I realized I only have the option of transferring my character to Mankrik if (when) he dies. Now I’ve learned this is apparently a limitation of when the servers were released(?) I’m thinking of starting over on one of the other HC realms that let you move to any Era server, but I understand they have less players.
Is there any way to get my Doomhowl character to Whitemane if he dies? Or is remaking on a different HC realm the only option?

All other HC servers can transfer to pvp except doomhowl. It makes no sense at all at this point and the restriction should be lifted.
Dang im playing hc now and didn’t realize this either, could it maybe be bc of the faction youre playing
Yeah, should really remove character transfers after death from HC servers. It not very inline with a Hardcore mode at all.
No, there’s only transfer to PvE from the former Anniversary HC server. It was like this from they launched, unlike the old ones where you were - and still are - able to transfer to PvP and PvE alike. It was, I guess, implemented because of the server balance in Anniversary, but now it’s meaningless, as there’s no balancing of the PvP servers in Era.
PS. you do not need to die to transfer
