Like the title says I think mods should be banned from hardcore. The only real difficulty I see with Hardcore is perma-death, raiding Onyx or MC with no deaths or very few anyway should be fairly easily accomplished by experienced and modded players. Make it to 60 and clear MC with only the original interface and game setup as it came out of the box in 2004. Now that to me is Hardcore.
