Ok, I have been hearing about hardcore servers…real ones…but do not know how to get to them if they are even on. can anyone update me?

The hardcore server is currently on PTR. You can reach it by opening battlenet, navigating to classic, and then selecting “wow classic era PTR” as your game version from the small drop down menu.
Thank you Mhorn, ok I open battle net, how do I navigate to classic (i see classic icon button) I click classic and the game opens I see no “wow classic era PTR”. what am i doing wrong? When I go to get a ptr account it says i have one.
Make sure you are selecting the correct game version. You should have a clickable dropdown menu above the large blue “play” button, where you will find multiple versions of the game. The one you want is “wow classic era PTR”. You will need to install it if you’ve never used the PTR before, but this should only take a couple of minutes.
