What is going on? Shouldn’t the current HC servers be back up? They aren’t even available to click on atm.

I was just about to log into Hardcore for the first time in a while, what’s going on with it? I don’t see it on the server selection screen.
Im seeing on other threads saying its going until Thursday, And apparently SR and DP retired. I have asked where i can find this and havent gotten anything back.
Retired? Frankly, that would be completely outrageous. Why do that to people who have put in all of that time and want to keep playing there? If true, that just might get me to stop playing altogether.

Seeing that they are not gone, but everything is unstable and they are waiting to bring them back up. Regular servers are currently crashing. Fingers crossed.

After seeing their Twitter, here’s an update: We’ve completed patching 1.15.5 to NA realms (EU is up next!), and although we’ve marked Classic Era and Season of Discovery realms live, we’re holding Hardcore realms down for just a bit longer, to ensure stability. We should have them back up soon.

I thought I saw the Hardcore realms under the Era tab. I think they just merged them into the same tab as Era servers?
SR and DP from what I have seen over the last week after fresh servers were announced are in for a massive population decline from the remaining people on those servers. Yes, several of the big guilds who have Naxx gear said they are staying, but the majority of people I have asked about their plans on Skull Rock said they are leaving for fresh. If those two servers are going to be down until Thursday when fresh opens, it will kill the population even more.
the wow classic backend is ran by interns out of college. not joking. so what do you expect?
edit: yes there’s a senior engineer overseeing it, but it’s one person and it’s not a priority for them. and this is why there are so many bots. they don’t care to spend the resources.

Of any and all servers in this game… you’d think HC ones would be most protected. And why does patching on all other servers affect us anyway? Nothing changes on HC. Seriously… wtf?!? Why do we get the short end of the stick every time they are messing with new content realms?

Blizzard… get it together… 10 hour downtime and no communication with your player base. Crazy to think we pay for this type of service.
