Hardcore PvP

Yep, and it’s doubtful that many would PvP in the HC server.
I feel that most are there looking for the death=delete challenge and PvP isn’t on their mind at all. I just don’t see them going through the bother to make changes to it.

Aren’t people doing this getting reported? Any stealth class HC or not can do this.

Never say never. We’ve had many “surprises” thrown at us in the past by this company

If this is the case or best case scenario it just seems strange to me. PvP vendors, reps, and npcs just sitting there, unobtainable? Would like to see Blizzard do something creative with it but I have no idea.

This is why HC mode was a waste of resources. Good luck trying to make this streamer game mode make sense. It’s only popular because there is no fresh or seasonal server and streamers need to create content for a living

Well I’m not OCD those things don’t bother me. Plus they are obtainable it would just be very very hard you have to gank flagged players lots of them and never die good luck soldier.

death=delete is inevitably going to sideline any content that involves dying repeatedly, yes :expressionless:

Its like jumping off thuderbluff you can still do it you just die if you cant blink slowfall whatever and new character time. You can still jump if you want though.

It’s a different game mode. If you want to risk it all, go for it kind of thing. We already have battlegrounds with no death consequences available.
The problem with excused deaths is eventually it won’t really be HC. We already have folks wanting to make the servers unable to flag on. What’ll be next?

If you think blizzard will add anything with pvp in mind for HC. I don’t think you have have paying attention for the last couple of years.

The /mak’gora is the easiest thing they could add w/o spend many resources.

I think it a fairly simple solution. HC PVP should have 2 or 3 deaths per player on the team. Regardless of who dies.

For example in a WSG a ten player team would have 30 death between them. Onces those deaths are used up the game is over and the other team wins. Each flag would be worth 10 deaths. Same thing with AB onlu resources would take lives from the other team. AV same thing.

The queue time for hard core bg would be days if not weeks lol.

Your Missing the Point… I enjoy playing hardcore, But right now you cannot do Battle Grounds… So this would allow players especially at max level something to do instead of just raid logging

I just hope they make two types of HC servers, a HC PvE and a HC PvP. On the fly Blizzard could modify the rules of the PvP server.

HC pvp would be fun to see if anyone could possibly raid. Just trying to get world buffs would be a gank fest with 1 death.

I think a way to implement this would be to make PVE servers completely PVP free (unable to flag. turn off the /pvp toggle completely) and turn hcpvp servers into what pve servers are.

Honestly a massive coordinated open world HCPVP battle would be absolutley EPIC to participate in. Like a REAL BATTLE.

I would 100% level a toon to participate in something like that.

I would consider myself a die hard PvPer and I’d only play on a PvP HC server knowing my character was gonna have a very short life and I think it would get old really fast.

Except if you were the one lucky SOB to get to 60 while everyone else was resetting at 20

I am, and my friends too. Just to understand, what would a second HC PvP server could influence or affect a HC PvE server?

If it were up to me I think they should just drop 1 PvP realm just to see what happens.
