So, the PTR just restarted, and I went to the PTR realm list. The realm name is “Classic Hardcore PTR” and the type is “Hardcore Normal.” Does this mean that they may have a “Hardcore PvP” and maybe a “Hardcore RP”?

Not as much as some are, but kind of.
Often what Blizzard puts out doesn’t have as much depth to it as some people think it does. Often though, it is missing key info as well
pretty sure there won’t be any HC PvP servers. the amount of issues with a HC PvP server is just too much tbh especially with people griefing low levels.
outside of that it’s always been HC normal i believe. im pretty sure they will have an RP server that kinda should be a given but as far as PvP servers highly doubt it at least for now. All PvP is just going to be duel/mokgora unless you toggle it but lets be real not many people will toggle PvP on intentionally. hell most people i see doing mokgora are lvl 1 or low level.
Well, what else would it be? There are Normal, PvP, RP Normal, and RP PvP servers.
I think it makes sense that the HC servers are HC Normal, but who knows; HC PvP Inc?!
HC PvP is not happening. classic case of you think you do but you don’t

While that would be interesting, for me it would be unnecessary as I would roleplay if I wished on any server.
They need a HC PvP server.
I wouldn’t play on a PvE server for any reason. HC or Normal…Core?
While I think there is a lot of people that would love a HC RP server, its unlikely there would be the population to support more than a single HC server in the long run.
