so i dl’ed the hardcore add on and put it in the classic add folder. how do i turn it on from there theres no addon button anywhere in classic.
Create a new character and login, it should popup. Also make sure you have it in the right folder, if you have wow, wotlk, and classic era folders installed, just know that there are different locations it would need to be in depending on which game you’re trying to play hardcore in.
i have it in my classic add ons folder and still no bueno
try using a program like curseforge to install it for you. you are somehow installing it in the wrong folder.
It needs to be in classic era folder. Classic is wotlk.

This happened to me I had to use curseforge as it needs to be one very specific version to work
figured it out curseforge had put the file in the ptr section i just moved it to classic/add ons works fine now.
