Hardcore is really just cheesecore

All these players talking about how hardcore is so intense and they are so good. First sight of danger PETRI AND PORT. Petri needs to be banned on official servers cause this is a joke.

In a stratholme run, tank accidentally got a pat with a pack. “Petri and port” it was 1 extra mob and everyone panics and teles out like my god people go back to grinding green mobs if that’s how you are gonna play.

i agree the petri thing needs to go :expressionless:

I guess that’s why they are at/near max level and the vast majority are dying at level 13

Literally no one does that… ok maybe a troll or two and it seems like they got you going so they won this round.

But hard core is so hard and requires so much skill. is it at level 10 we get a third button to press ?

yeah this guy probably is making up this story but still, remove the petri + leave group cheese :expressionless:

Ghetto port needs to be broken also.

Clearly you don’t visit forums often. Say “hardcore is easy” and see what response you get.

I’m not sure what that has to do with the conversation so far. You claimed that hardcore players run around bragging about how good they are at the game. I can quote your own post for you if you are having trouble remembering.

The vast majority of HC players are pretty humble. The fact that you are one dynamic respawn away from having a dead character is what makes HC exciting. The fact that you tried to portray the community as a bunch of braggards is pretty revealing.

WHO has flasks of petrification on an old RP server and would blow them on a leveling dungeon? Is this something that ACTUALLY happened or just a theory of what could happen when everyone’s paranoid delusions meet in a dark alley?

My guy how much do I got to spell it out for you. On the hardcore forums people act like they are gods on wow, those people are hardcore players. Therefore hardcore player thinks they are gods of wow. Do you get it now?

No. No they don’t.

Yo, guys. Imma post about other people posting about stuff cause i dont have anything better to do and people playing hardcore makes me angry wangry.

the mods etc of hardcore support a paid addon leveling guide that straight up tells you to do teleport skips to graveyards and stuff. hc people don’t really care what they do as long as NO HELP and death=delete

So far my experience with HC has been kind of, meh. You have a large number of players that go to each starting area and won’t touch the Barrens until 16. They run dungeons 5 levels lower than they are.

For the most part it’s a large group of casual grade players that reroll when they die to a Zhevra.

Blizzard placing a HC server before SOM2 is ridiculous.

Yes, it actually happens.

I don’t think you know what the word “humble” means. I’ve literally been in instance groups that spend 20 minutes arguing over how to roll on treasure chests. It’s been easier to just pass on most loot just so I can get the instance finished.

I really wanted to walk away from this but… what in the WORLD does chest loot have to do with humility?

humble [ huhm-buhl, uhm- ]

not proud or arrogant; modest:
“Though very successful, she remained humble.”

I’m level 60 on the hardest class to get there, and never needed to petri or appeal. It can be done, but I know it’s easier to focus on the cheese, to invalidate everyone in one broad stroke. Maybe to make yourself feel better since you can’t do it, or for whatever weird reason. It’s just plain weird though tbh, not sure why even bother to get upset about it.

But yeah hardcore is about utilizing whatever resources you have available to make it work. Every game with a hardcore mode is like this. If cheese exists, many will use it. Just like Diablo 4’s cheat death system, lol. If anything, D4’s take on hardcore is more cheese, you should be complaining there.

Looking forward to official and seeing what their take on it will be. I’m down for removal or whatever cheese they think is too cheesy. The hardest part for most people though, will be no appeals on disconnect or grief. It will honestly be harder getting to 60, and staying alive at 60 for a lot of people than it is currently with the addon, despite the restrictions.

Humble people don’t bicker over treasure chests in an instance for 20 minutes. Humble people roll on the chest and keep moving. There’s nothing “humble” about the majority of the HC community.
