Hardcore Feign Death: I've been griefed by Blizzard

It really needs a mention in the spell description. Most people read those, right?

It’s Feign Death, not Use the Toilet and Grab a Snack.

You and I know that. New hunters or new players don’t. Besides, what harm is there in expanding the spell description?

You feign for six minutes, you deserve to die.

Your guild tag is misleading.

This statement is as pointless as yours.

There’s nothing kind about lying.

It’s as they say… Feign around and Find Oww.

Please give a link. I read this too, but I did not notice this titbit on Feign Death!

Thanks, seems my friend did not actually know what he was talking about.
My excuses to

for not checking facts before answering.

Just for info. I have played - and most of the time mained - a Hunter through Vanilla, BC and Wrath. And I did not know this!

Ever hear of paragraphs or punctuation.

Not reading this.

Have you ever heard of the proverb: People that live in glass houses should not throw stones?

I am so devastated this happened to me today. The eerie thing is I was level 42 as well! I am beyond upset. I can’t believe they left this mechanic in hardcore. It should just make you stand up (like canceling it on your own by moving or jumping) . Shame on this design, hours of playtime gone.

But, I can cast spells, heal people, cure disease and poisons, teleport, go invisible with a potion that will magically make my armor and weapons invisible, and carry around a horse in my pocket. But, being realistic is common sense!

While it’s an unfortunate event that you died from this in HC, it’s a well known side effect since vanilla, and it’s one of those things that comes up on the forums every so often. This doesn’t help those that didn’t know about it though or make the blow any less of course so sorry you died.

One thing to always consider in HC, is it’s never the best place to experiment with skills or abilities. Most abilities you should know and understand, but things with timers or quests that you have concerns with, it’s always good to figure that out in a non HC way, or even ask here. Fortunately there aren’t many things like this, so most abilities you can ignore, but not all of them. As example if you make a mistake and pick up the ability Divine Intervention on a Paladin, its not good ability to test, as it does exactly what it does in normal.

not in my opinion, more like Blizzard doesn’t explain their game worth a crap and people need to rely on 3rd party sites to get info, easily see this happen to people new to hunters.

How much simpler do you want them to make the game? One of the good things about classic is even as dumbed down as it was, it still requires people to do and figure out things. If you’re looking for a lot of hand holding, you’re probably better off looking at retail, it has added a lot more of that type of stuff.

Hardcore has tons of knowledge checks that’s just how it is. Do a rogue quest without knowing how to do it before hand? You probably will have a bad time. Enter that spider cave in silverpine without knowing there’s an overpowered rare in there? You will have a bad time. Walk on the road to duskwood without knowing about stitches? You will have a bad time.
