So with hardcore looming over I’ve been thinking about this in particular. Are they going to change the benediction quest? Because if they don’t what exactly is going to stop someone from getting a summon on a low level to EPL, parking it and waiting for unsuspecting priests to get their eye of divinity and just casting a heal on the priest to spawn cleaner?
They’ve said they will ban griefers. But there’s a lot of ways to grief people, you don’t have to think of elaborate ways like this if that’s how you want to go.
They said a lot, but it isn’t clear how they will determine what griefing is, nor whether they are willing to allocate resources to properly determine whether something is or isn’t.
“Gameplay that involves Zone Disruption and malicious player killing outside of consensual PvP will not be tolerated on Hardcore realms.”

Have the cleaner only spawn and aggro onto the other person.
A ban won’t stop someone from creating a new account. 15 dollars for many people is a drop in the ocean. Also it may seem elaborate but at the end of the day the higher the level the more lucrative the grief. Being able to systematically camp bene and eliminate good healers from the raiding scene is a very powerful thing even if there is a ban at the end of the day.
Yea this is a good potential solution and I hope this is what they do.
