Please allow dead hardcore characters to transfer to the normal PVP server. You allow this now on era servers. Me and many of my friends plan on playing Hardcore classic and then transferring to play TBC, and most people play on PVP servers. Its not like leveling on a Hardcore PVE server can, in any way, give us an advantage in world PVP on a PVP server… Please reconsider.
I’m in the same boat. I’ve been recruiting the gang to take on hardcore in a couple days with the plan of us transferring to PvP when we die. If this isn’t possible… we’ll need to skip HC altogether. Such a shame.
Let me reword this for you: “Please allow me to level up and gear up PVE, then transfer to PVP.”
Of course you can’t do this.
Well, first of all, as I stated above, you can literally do this right now in the current game. LOL. Second of all, PLEASE tell me in what version of World of Warcraft that you have played where “leveling and gearing up” is more difficult on a PVP server where you might get killed a few times running to complete a quest, rather than a hardcore server where you can’t die… LOL. Brain dead.
Since you’ve resorted to insults I’ll be blunt. Death = Delete.
The precedent is already set on current HC servers. if you die on existing HC servers you are given the option to transfer to either PvE or PVP servers.
It makes no sense to change this now… especially considering the skill threshold is higher in HC servers and people just spam dungeons to gear up on PVP servers.
There’s zero advantage for a HC player transferring into a PVP server.
If it were up to a vote I’d say let HC transfer to either… Or…. Remove transfers altogether and delete is you’re only option haha
It would be used as a way to curcumvent the faction lock. Go to a HC server, create your preferred, but locked on PvP server character, transfer to PvP - you do not even need to die first.
