I have had the theory that this is going to happen. Lots of MMOs have a hard reset using dragons, WoW had their first reset using Deathwing, and we have an expac themed around dragons. It we can have a hard rest and take ONE and only ONE toon over into our new reset world from retail… AND as part of my theory goes, Classic will most likely one day merge with retail.

Yes I do. Or the other option is to be forced into Cata and have to pay money just to clone all my toons over and then have the ones I did not pay money to keep playing be deleted and not able to be restored. Yea since the only option is having them forcibly moved forward onto Cata or be deleted, I would rather have this toon come into retail. I have R1s in retail, but some of my classic toons including this toon have cool stuff they dont have.
I’d rather this toon go to retail than have it be deleted. And then retail will get its last ever wave of new Arena Masters and stuff like that and also these cool tabards that I have on this toon and a couple others that you cant get in retail anymore.

Nah, they already said they don’t want people playing classic for collection purposes. It’d be a wreck of classic turned into a sort of “i am just here to get stuff for my real account”.

Yes makes sense. We had an ungoldy amount of Scarab Lords this time around. I am guessing as many as 5 to 10x as many as before if you go off % wise. Multiple per server on every server. I got PvP titles on multiple toons so does almost everyone here in Classic.
So yea I see what you would say, it would wreck retail.
Bold of you to think that most of GD has earned enough science to unlock “original thought” on the tech tree.
